There’s a new noodle place in town as Wok to Walk opens its doors on Granby Street. PLUS we’ve got 20 meals to give away to 20 lucky Cool As Leicester readers.
If you’re an avid Deliveroo-er (is that a word?) then you might have spotted Wok to Walk over lockdown as they opened their virtual delivery platform doors, but they weren’t open for dine in or walk in until last week.
So what’s exciting about noodles? I hear you say. Well, Wok to Walk is all about choice. Think of it like building your own sandwich at Subway but for noodles. You pick the base (rice, whole-wheat noodles, egg noodles, udon noodles) and then add in as many items as you like. Chicken, beef, katsu chicken, prawns, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, peppers… there’s a mesmerising about of choice, and that’s before we get into the sauces and toppings.
Everything is cooked right in front of you from the fresh ingredients, and is ready in no time at all. It’s so filling too! No need to sides or extras with this one.
The best part? Well, for many it’s the best part. If you head over to the Wok to Walk website you can select all of your menu choices and it breaks it down into macros for you. Perfect if you’re trying to eat a little healthier and many of the choices offer a fantastic takeaway meal that can easily fit into a healthy meal plan.
Wok to Walk Leicester is only the fifth branch in the UK, following openings in Birmingham, Coventry, Bristol and Cardiff but we can see it becoming a big hit in many more cities to follow.
