Way Coffee marks their launch today (Monday 11 September) with the doors opening for the first time at their coffee shop at Frog Island.
Based around the three principles of coffee, food and community, Way Coffee is run alongside the One Church family and is a new addition to their home at 10 Frog Island.
All profits from the coffee shop will go towards community projects in the Mukuru slum, Kenya so you can be sure that your visit is going to help a good cause. They’ll be serving a selection of freshly made salads, flatbreads and cakes. Their coffee is from North Star Coffee Roasters, another company focused on community with a committed sustainability approach.
One Church operates from several sites in Leicester, as well as hosting events and activities. Their central site is based at 10 Frog Island, whilst they also meet at 2Funky Music Cafe, Manor High School in Oadby and the Oak Centre in Braunstone. They are an Assemblies of God (AOG church) offering fun sessions for children, families and young adults. They also run the Open Hands charity, providing food packages and emergency support and care to people in need in Leicester.
Way Coffee will be open Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4pm, and Saturdays from 9.30am – 3pm. Keep up to date by following them on Instagram @way_coffee_leics.
