If you didn’t manage to bag a ticket to Wembley, we think this might just be the next best things for Leicester City fans to watch this year’s FA Cup Final.
Framework Brewery will be opening up their courtyard as the Framework Football Yard. There’ll be a big screen, there’ll be local beers, there’ll be street food, there’ll be tables and seating with a guaranteed view of the screen.
With only 6250 tickets available for Leicester City fans at Wembley there’s an awful lot who missed out, so city centre brewery, Framework decided to come up with a solution. Join them at the brewery courtyard from 3pm – 10pm for pre-match build up, the final live on the big screen, followed by celebration or commiseration drinks.
If you’ve been to Framework’s tap days before you’ll know that they’re family friendly, and this is no different with children welcome to the event as well. Having been unable to host their regular events this seemed like the perfect time to start again. They’ve teamed up with off The Grid Experiences to create a fun, fantastic, Covid-safe screening in the city centre.
On the day doors open from 3pm and the bar will be serving Framework and other local beers, cider, wines, Prosecco and soft drinks. There’ll also be street food traders on site, so keep your eye on Framework’s social media to see who’ll be dishing up the grub!
The courtyard will be open between 15:00 and 22:00, the programme is as follows:
15:25: The Road to Wembley
16:15: Pre-match build-up
17:15: Kickoff
21:30: Last orders at the bar
22:00: Close
Tickets are on sale now and expected to sell quickly. Tickets are available as a pair (£15 + booking fee) or for a picnic bench to seat 6 people (£30 + booking fee).
