What can people expect from the Sounds of the 80s Live Tour?

3 hours of non stop dancing to the best 80s tunes with awesome routines from ‘Gary’s Gang’ our Sounds of the 80s dancers and a special live performance from 80s legends Musical Youth.

Where did your love for 80s music stem from?

The 80s was the decade that all my dreams came true – I got my dream job at Radio 1 and hosted my favourite TV show Top of the Pops.

You have to pick – give us your top 3 80s tracks?

Very tough question and my answer changes all the time – but if you want to party then it could be Erasure – A Little Respect, Bon Jovi –  Living on a Prayer and Boystown Gang – Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.

Who do you believe is the ultimate 80s icon?

Too many – George Michael, Prince, Madonna, Whitney.

What is your favourite part of the live show?

All of it but maybe when Gary’s Gang perform that amazing scene from the movie Dirty Dancing.

If there’s anyone who has never listened to your radio show, tell them why they should tune in?

Because its the most joyful 2 hours on radio!

Where/when can people hear you on the radio?

At the moment you can hear me on Pick of the Pops Saturday 1-3pm, Sounds of the 80s Saturday 8-10pm and filling in on the morning show when Vernon Kay takes hols.
