Leicester Restaurant Week is back from 17 – 23 October and the participating venues and menus have now been unveiled.

With 33 venues, over 50 different deals or special menus and offers starting from £5, there’s plenty to be excited about.

Taking place from Monday 17th – Sunday 23rd October, Leicester Restaurant Week will be, once again, shining a spotlight on some of the best restaurants in the city.  It will give participating eateries the chance to showcase a specially selected, limited-edition menu, or to get creative and offer something new and exclusive to customers – for one week only.

This year, offers start from as little as £5, including coffee and cake at Merchant of Venice as well as lunch deals from Dough WHAT. New additions for 2022 include 2 and 3 course menus from Black Iron Social, as well as a tasting experience at The Frame – the newest venue to open in St Martins Square.

If you find it hard to choose what to eat, head over to Chutney Ivy for a taste of their menu, with multiple starters and mains served. Meanwhile, there are 2 and 3 course menus available from Queen of Bradgate, Pho, Giggling Squid, Middleton’s, 1573, The Globe, Knight & Garter, Herb and Kayal.

Special offers cooked up by kitchens for one week only include the Rutland Fried Chicken, Chicken Parm Burger and Philly Cheese Steak Poutine at The Rutland & Derby; gourmet Hot Dogs from Crafty and 20% off organic wine to go with a new evening menu at vegan café, Prana.

For those who prefer a day-time feast over dinner, offers from &Kith, Orso, Just So Italian and Esquires include brunch and lunch classics to enjoy, starting from £10.

Afternoon tea at Five Fox Lane

Leicester Restaurant Week also coincides with half-term in the city and there are some great offers for families to take advantage of, including Dough WHAT’s family pizza feast; a family Afternoon Tea offer from Five Fox Lane and a special offer for kids to eat for £1 for every paying adult at Revolution. There really is something for everyone’s tastes and pockets.

Last year saw some venues fully booked, so be sure to check out the offers and make your plans in advance. To find out more about Leicester Restaurant Week, the venues that are involved and their special offers, just head over to www.leicesterrestaurantweek.co.uk
