Stoughton Grange Farm Shop, the latest addition to the Stoughton Grange development, will open its doors on Tuesday 26 July from 9am.

Following the refurbishment of the neighbouring Cow & Plough, along with a number of improvements to the area and other new retail businesses, Stoughton Grange Farm Shop will offer a high quality local shopping experience to nearby residents and visitors.

Visitors to the farm shop can look forward to a range of fresh and local produce with an on-site butchery, deli counter, local bread from Hambleton Bakery, a great selection of cakes and biscuits, as well as takeaway coffees and other drinks.

Stoughton Grange Farm Shop is being opened by Steamin’ Billy, who also operate the neighbouring pub, The Cow & Plough. Following a full interior refurbishment, the pub now also has a 1 acre kitchen garden, which is used for growing salads, tomatoes, courgettes, beans, edible flowers, celery, cucumbers, radishes and more, all of which are used on their pub and restaurant menus, as well as sold in the shop. The kitchen garden will also offer a new space for visitors to enjoy Afternoon Tea.

Situated on the land of the former Stoughton Farm Park, Steamin’ Billy will be bringing back elements of the original site with their own mini farm park opening in August. With alpacas, Shetland ponies, sheep, goats and pigs for guests to visit, as well as enjoying a peddle tractor track, lakeside walks and a picnic area, it will be a wonderful family destination. There’s an awful lot more to come from this development so keep your eyes out!

Managing Director of Steamin’ Billy, Billy Allingham, commented, “The development at Stoughton Grange has seen us bring together a number of elements we’ve been working on for some time. The refurbishment of the pub, the revival of the farm park and, of course, the new farm shop. We’re working with some wonderful local suppliers and are looking forward to offering our customers a fantastic range of products.”

Stoughton Grange Farm Shop will join other businesses at the site, including the newly opened Fazakerley Homeware and Gifts, Lollipops Pottery Studio, Dermacare, Andrew Granger Estate Agents and more.

Stoughton Grange is located on Gartree Road, Oadby, LE2 2FB. Check out their website www.stoughtongrange.co.uk or Instagram @stoughtongrangefarmshop for the latest info.

The farm shop will be open from 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 4pm on Sundays.
