Looking for an afternoon tea spot in the centre of town? One of Leicester’s best bars and restaurants is now launching their new offering.
Afternoon Tea By The Knight is now available to pre-book at Knight & Garter. Available 7 days a week, the afternoon tea features wonderful sweet and savoury treats, with standing out menu items including beetroot & mascarpone profiteroles, beef brisket pie, and our favourite Red Leicester sausage rolls. Sweet items include fruit buttermilk scone with Cornish clotted cream & jam, passionfruit cheesecake lolly, mini caramel filled churros, macaroons & brownie bites.
The tea can be switched for a vegetarian option, with broccoli, cheddar & cauliflower pie, spicy bean & cheddar roll and more, however a vegan option is currently unavailable.
To accompany the tea, choose from 10 large leaf traditional & creative teas, alcoholic & non-alcoholic sparkling tea imported from Copenhagen or why not add on a bottle of house Champagne?
Prices start from £35 for afternoon tea for 2. Teas are available to purchase as a complete gift voucher which can then be booked & redeemed on any day up until 5pm. Enjoy your tea in the restaurant, grab a table in the bar or enjoy al fresco on Knight & Garter’s fabulous terrace. 24 hours notice is required for all bookings.
