This Saturday (18th June) will see the official launch of top new brand Edition Skateboards. To celebrate the launch there will be a whole day of events, music and more at The Soundhouse in the Cultural Quarter.

With free entry all day, the doors will open from 2pm and you can expect a host of product showcases, offers and giveaways. There will be an art exhibition during the day with pieces on display from the guys at Edition, artists, tattooists and other city based designers. There’ll be a BBQ in the beer garden, so why not head down, immerse yourself in the city’s skate and art culture and (hopefully) enjoy a beer in the sunshine.

As the sun goes down The Soundhouse will be doing with it does best and hosting some top live music. They’ve got sets from local punk boys More Amour, followed by the hip-hop vocal delights of Karl Phillips and The Midnight Ramblers. Is that still not enough? Fear not, after the live music the lights will go down for a kick-ass party with some of the city’s best DJs spinning tunes for you, with a mix of dubstep, drum n bass and hip hop running until 4am.

The event is free entry all day. Please note that under-18s are welcome until 9pm when the venue will turn to over-18s only.
