They’re Leicester’s hottest band of the moment and now, following a huge breakthrough year in 2018, Easy Life are back on tour and close to selling out their hometown show at Leicester’s O2 Academy on Saturday 30 March.

Easy Life are unlike many other new bands: a group of multi-instrumental, multi-tasking and multi-talented young men who appear as at home with their free-wheeling sound as they are baring their soul. With just a handful of early material – breakout single ‘Pockets’, debut mixtape ‘Creature Habits’, and the sun-kissed grooves of ‘Frank’, the band took the UK music scene by storm in 2018, from the Radio 1 playlist to an appearance on Jools Holland, and now 2019 looks set to be huge for them.

NME, Ticketmaster, Dork… they’ve all hyped them up for the big time in 2019, and that’s not all…

Not only are they performing at Boston Calling alongside the likes of Twenty One Pilots, Travis Scott and Janelle Monae, they’re also playing The Governers Ball in NYC with Florence and the Machine, The 1975 and The Stroke, and as if that’s not enough they’ve been booked for the mighty Coachella too! They’ll be heading to Indio, California in April to play the huge event with Ariana Grande, Tame Impala and so many more.

The band may have been formed on somewhat of a whim by members Murray and school friend Sam, who bonded over a love of classic hip-hop, but along with Afrobeat-obsessed drummer Cass, guitarist Louis and Jordan, on percussion, keys and backing vocals, they’ve started something very special

Don’t miss your chance to see them in their hometown just before they head stateside. These boys are only going to get bigger!

Easy Life play Leicester’s O2 Academy on Saturday 30 March. Remaining tickets are on sale from Seetickets priced at £12.50.
