One of this year’s most hotly tipped bands, Hunter & The Bear, are in town on Tuesday 28 November for an intimate show at The Cookie.
With the band inspired by artists including Dire Straits and Bruce Springsteen, Hunter & The Bear consist of Jimmy, Will, Gareth, and Chris after starting the band while at university in Newcastle,
The band offer a powerful blend of folk, rock and country music, with some of the strongest vocal harmonies we’ve heard in quite some time, enhanced by lead singer, Jimmy’s addictive deep and edgy vocals. It’s been quite a few years for the band at the start of their journey, with support slots with the likes of Eric Clapton certainly beefing up their musical CV. Now with the release of their debut album, Paper Heart, this year there are even more exciting times ahead.
Hunter & The Bear come to The Cookie on 28 November as part of their UK tour. Tickets are priced at £9 and are available from Gigantic or on the door (subject to availability).
