Bradgate Park is truly one of Leicestershire’s gems. The beautiful 850 acre country park in Charnwood Forest is one of the most scenic places to visit in the county for a weekend walk, with deer free roaming around you, walks up to Old John and the ruins of Bradgate House. So it’s no surprise that we’re all hugely excited about the fact that the park will be hosting a series of outdoor theatre events this summer.

The events are being put on by Chapterhouse Theatre Company and the performances will take place in the open air amongst the ruins of Bradgate House. Here are the dates for your diary:

Sunday 15th June – The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
Sunday 13th July – Much Ado About Nothing
Sunday 3rd August – Sense and Sensibility

Doors for the events open at 4.30pm with the performance beginning at 6pm, so there’s plenty of time to go and enjoy your picnic and drinks outside beforehand.

Tickets are priced at £14 for adults with child and family options also available. You can book online HERE.
