Who’s got a budding astronaut at home? Over the summer holidays the National Space Centre’s Discovery Team will be hosting three online Space Cadets Club sessions to help any families looking to support children who would like to bolster their learning over the summer holidays.

Created for children aged 7-11 who are interested in science and space, the Space Cadets session will run from 10:30-11:30 on 27 July, 10 August and 24 August.

Places are limited and the club will focus on a different subject each time linked to space science and exploration. This summer’s themes are Biodiversity, Astronauts and Satellites & Earth Observations.

Sessions are 60 minutes and include talks, craft ideas, downloadable resources and engaging content to support home learning.

“My son really enjoyed this and is super excited for the alien’s one next week… My husband was really surprised with how interesting it was and how well it had been organised.”

Sessions are priced at £4 per household (one login). Your pass will include ONE unique access code to the online workshops and talks on the date selected via Zoom. Downloadable resources are available to support the online content.

Sessions can be booked on the National Space Centre website.
