When it comes to coffee we’re spoilt for choice in Leicester. Have a read of why Bejal from the brilliant blog Be Lavie thinks Leicester Coffee House stands out so much.

If you really love your coffee, I’d recommend Leicester Coffee House Co. located on Granby Street.  The coffee is good quality, ethically sourced and ensures a mutual profit and positive social impact for the coffee small holders.

‘Rocco’ the roaster takes centre stage at their café and is busy roasting single origin beans on site. My personal favourite is the Guatemalan and Nicaraguan coffee and depending on what’s being roasted that week, you’ll have a choice from two types of coffee.  There’s a great selection of hot and cold drinks as well as some very delicious homemade bakes courtesy of Gail, one of the owners. Some of my favourites include, the lemon drizzle, courgette and lime cake and rosemary and orange polenta cake.

Additionally, I love the community project that Leicester Coffee House are involved in with helping to develop the skills of young people through the coffee shop. You can read more on their website.

Oh and this place is dog friendly as they put their cute furry resident pooch, Tommo at the front of their branding. Who doesn’t like cute Tommo cuddles whilst sipping on a good coffee?!

During this time of uncertainty, Leicester Coffee House Co. have decided to launch their cycle delivery service within 3 miles of the city centre and when ordering 500g or more, it’s free delivery! All information on their website.

Leicester Coffee House can be found at 110 Granby Street.
