Leicester City in the Community – the official charity of Leicester City Football Club – is marking the Lionesses’ World Cup campaign with a summer of football activities.
They are running a girl-only Football Camp every Friday at Riverside Ground throughout August, you can sign up for £75 for all five days or £15 per day.
Running alongside the Camp on 25th August is a special one-off day Goalkeeper Camp for aspiring shot stoppers.
Following the rapid rise of Women’s football on a worldwide scale, culminated by Lionesses’ recent European Championship success, as well as Leicester City Women’s third Women’s Super League campaign on the horizon, now is the perfect time to see if football is for you.
Those who attend should bring appropriate clothing, footwear and shinpads, bring a lunch and plenty to drink.
Football Camps will be running at various locations across the city and county for boys and girls, from Oadby to Barwell, Aylestone to Coalville, there should be a location suitable for your loved ones.
