When Boris said we could eat and drink outside I wonder if he envisaged a woodland cookout. Campfire Trailer is now doing exactly that as they bring the Campfire Cookout to Leicestershire.
Yes, cocktail and street food maestros Campfire will bring you a festival of open fire cooking, cocktails, craft beer and acoustic music all beside the (actual) campfire & set amongst magical ancient woodland on the fringes of Ashby De La Zouch. The event will take place on Saturday 29 May.
Their chefs have created a seasonal smorgasbord of the finest local produce including vegan options, which will be prepared in a blend of traditional and indigenous cooking techniques all over wood fired, open flames. Tickets include four courses (with choices from a menu of small plates) and treats as you wander the woodland setting. Plus if we know one thing about Campfire it’s that quality is guaranteed throughout!
The event encourages a casual dining experience where you’ll pick your dishes, enjoy the surroundings and and dine next to the campfires.
The team will also be joined by their fireside drinks host, Jarred Brown, Master Distiller and founder of Sipsmith Gin Distillery, who will be creating Sipsmith Gin cocktails with unique foraged ingredients, served alongside craft beers and wines. A really special event for any gin drinkers!
As the sun sets around you you’ll enjoy campfire side acoustic sets from Warren Stanford and guests under the canopy and stars.
Tickets are priced at £99 and include 4 courses as well as 3 specially crafted gin cocktails made with unique foraged ingredients. The Campfire Trailer will also be there for additional drinks service as well.
The event runs from 4pm – 10pm and is strictly over 18s. The event is located at the Field Sport site close to Ashby De La Zouch.
