With eyes on 12 April as the date when pubs and cafes can serve outdoors we’re going to be looking at some of Leicestershire’s best beer gardens.
First up, The Langton Arms in Church Langton.
This charming pub is part of Leicestershire’s Little Britain Pub Co and is situated in the beautiful village of Church Langton. Their food offering is excellent and in usual times the indoor dining room would be bustling most days of the week and especially for Sunday lunch.
Outside they’ve made a number of improvements to the garden area, with large tables for groups of 6 and even a Garden Bubble (enclosed dome) that can be hired out by a group as well.
A perfect countryside spot for an outdoor drink or al fresco meal. You can expect fresh, seasonal produce on the menu and high quality throughout. There’s also a great children’s menu offering too.
Dogs are very welcome and so, in fact, are horses. There’s even a spot for you to safely tie them whilst you stop for lunch.
