There’s a family rave heading to Leicester this summer, which sounds brilliant.
DJ SS and friends return to Leicester as part of his label Formation Records Festival and the event will be held at 2Funky Music Cafe on Saturday 29 June.
This is family fun for the post-rave generation of parents is coming back. As their tagline says, they’ve been helping parents be responsibly irresponsible since 2013.
DJ SS will be doing a DJ set playing (grown up) drum and bass on the multi-sensory dance floor with glitter cannons, bubbles and giant parachute dance, plus there’s now been an outdoor stage added for the summer vibes There will also be a themed craft area with giant mural, and play doh table, as well as a play area with tents and tunnels and baby chill out space with mats and small ball pool. Licensed bar, free transfer tattoos and glowsticks. What more could you need?
The event is aimed at families with children 8 years and younger, however older siblings are welcome. As you’d expect from a family event, adults are not admitted unless accompanied by a ticketed child or pre-walking infant (max 3 children per adult)
