The lockdown period can be a testing time for a wide range of people and it’s important to look after our mental health.

Leicestershire mental health charity, Lamp, is on hand throughout this time to make sure everyone has somewhere to turn. They’re also still running their carer support groups via video conferencing as well.

Calls to Lamp’s helpline have tripled during the current crisis and they’re working incredible hard to make sure everyone who contacts them is fully supported.

To ensure they can meet demand they’ve now launched a GoFundMe page to raise additional funds. If you can  give the cost of a coffee or a meal you’ll be helping to support people in Leicestershire who may be experiencing mental distress

We can’t share coffees and meals with friends at this time. Could you donate your usual socialising funds to help friends, neighbours and whole communities across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland in need of mental health support?

There has never been a more crucial time for mental health.

Please visit the GoFundMe page to donate online.
