Bru continues to be one of the city centre’s most popular coffee shops.
The independent brand has begun to expand with a new store in Oadby and a couple further outside of Leicester, but the Granby Street coffee shop remains at the heart of what they do.
Always innovating with their monthly coffee specials, they’ve now launched a range of brand new vegan protein shakes. If you’re on a summer health and fitness push, then you won’t want to miss these.
There are two flavours available and both packed with protein, perfect for post-workout or to add to your diet plan.
Customers can choose from the Matcha Vanilla Vegan Shake, which contains 33.9g of protein or the Coffee & Cacao Vegan Shake, which contains 34.5g protein.
A spokesperson for Bru commented, “Our protein shakes are made with 100% vegan coconut sorbet, which is produced by in our own in-house gelato facility. All shakes are freshly blended to order!”
Of course if you’re not in the city centre, or you need a quick post-gym protein fix, you can continue to order coffee, shakes, grilled cheese and cakes from Bru through delivery platforms including both Deliveroo and UberEats.
