Our Leicestershire beer garden tour has a totally different vibe this week as we head to The Soundhouse in the city centre.

If you’re a live music fan then you’ll be wanting to check out this “Foxes Den” beer garden through the summer. They’ve got an outdoor stage and have regular live outdoor sessions on weekends.

The Soundhouse Summer Sessions take place every Saturday until 25 June, with a selection of top local acts performing live on the garden stage. It runs through the afternoon making the perfect weekend day out and it’s free entry. Plus it’s also family friendly and dog friendly too.

Should the weather take a turn they can move the performances inside so you’re covered!

The garden is covered in some top notch graffiti from local artists and friends of the venue and is a great quirky little city centre gem. The Soundhouse has become pretty well known for it’s brilliant exterior artwork as the front design by Alex Rubes even made a B&Q listing of top 6 statement walls in the UK. All created as part of Bring the Paint Festival.

Make the most of your Saturday afternoon and support local musicians and venues too. Summer Sessions are on from 1pm – 5.30pm every Saturday until 25 June and then on various weekends through the summer. Keep at eye on The Soundhouse Facebook page for the latest info. Free entry, family friendly, dog friendly.

The Soundhouse is on Southampton Street, LE1.
