Boxing fans, you’re in for a treat as Morningside Arena has announced an evening with Carl “The Cobra” Froch in October.

The former 2-time super middleweight champion of the World, Carl “The Cobra” Froch, will be in Leicester for a q&a, meet and great and chance for fans to hear all about his career highs and lows.

Froch is a British boxing legend and held the WBC title twice between 2008-2011 and the IBF title from 2012 to 2015, as well as the WBA unified title from 2013 to 2015. He sold out arenas in the UK with huge match ups against the likes of Jean Pascal and Andre Dirrell as well as abroad facing off with America’s Jermaine Taylor and Denmark’s Mikkel Kessler.

Of course, Froch’s biggest career moment came in a rematch with George Groves in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley stadium in 2014. A fight he won by KO and would end up being his last.
