Yes, if you missed it last year then you can breathe a sigh of relief, as the pop-up Smokehouse at O Bar on Braunstone Gate is firing up its smoker again!
The pop-up restaurant in the upstairs of the bar was a big hit when it opened for a month towards the end of 2013 and demand proved sufficient for them to give it another go. You’ll have to be quick though because the restaurant is only going to be in service for another few weeks (although there’s no set closing date at time of writing).
The restaurant focusses on soul food and the menu boasts everything from 14 hour pulled pork to traditional mac n cheese. Reviews of the food have been nothing but positive so far and we can’t wait to check it out! Have you been? Make sure you comment and let us know what you thought!
