When the summer weather hits, not everybody digs a Double IPA or German-style Helles, but BrewDog has you covered with their new ways to give customers what they want. This season they’ve got an awesome range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic summer drinks ranging from beer slushies to soda floats.
First things first, if you’ve never had a beer slushie before – you don’t know what you’ve been missing.
If you love Slush Puppies as a kid then get ready for the adult equivalent. BrewDog has introduced a trio of different slushies freshly frozen and featuring the perfect balance of sweet and sour; each served atop a measure of the beer that features in the topping. You can choose from:
Cosmic Slush – BrewDog OverWorks Tropical sour, Square Root Citrus Soda, Sugar
Kola Berry Blast – BrewDog OverWorks Berry sour, Fritz Cola, Sugar
Frosty Hawkes Cider – Nothing but Hawkes Cider, chilled and slushed to perfection
For something a little different you can also enjoy their take on the Ginger Beer. The BrewDog Punk Ginger Beer contains a blend of Punk IPA, fresh root ginger, ginger beer, lemon and lime juice, and is sure to be a summertime hit.
Finally, for those who don’t want the alcohol but do want the childhood nostalgia then they’ll be serving Fritz Soda Floats in all BrewDog bars this summer. Just pick any bottle of their Fritz Soda range and they will pour and top with vanilla ice-cream for the ultimate float. As easy as that. Because everything is better with ice-cream.
