It’s time to mark those calendars, because one of the foodie highlights of the year is set to return to Leicester.
Yes, get ready to indulge in a culinary extravaganza, as BID Leicester proudly announces the return of Leicester Restaurant Week. Taking place from Monday 21 October to Sunday 27 October 2024, this highly anticipated event promises a delectable experience for food enthusiasts, offering the perfect opportunity to explore both new gastronomic delights and cherished classics across the city.
With a selection of fixed price deals, Leicester Restaurant Week offers diners the opportunity to try somewhere new or visit an old favourite. Importantly, it also gives restaurant the opportunity to showcase what they do and hopefully draw in new customers.
First introduced in 2021, Leicester Restaurant Week has become a celebrated fixture in the city’s culinary calendar. Over 12,000 vouchers for deals have been downloaded across the three years Leicester Restaurant Week has taken place, with 42 venues offering 79 deals in 2023 alone, as diners were eager to make the most of the limited time offers.
BID Director, Simon Jenner, commented: “Leicester Restaurant Week embodies the spirit of our city’s vibrant culinary scene, celebrating the rich tapestry of flavours and cultures that make Leicester truly unique.
“It’s an honour to be bringing this event back to Leicester for the fourth year, and our aim is to make it bigger and better than ever, inviting everyone to embark on a gastronomic journey like no other.”
This October, diners will once again have the chance to enjoy the city’s foodie scene as restaurants participating in Leicester Restaurant Week 2024 offer exclusive deals for one week only. Price points will be fixed at £5, £10, £15, £20 and £25 with menus available across brunch, lunch and dinner, giving everyone an opportunity to sample the huge variety of venues, dishes and cuisines Leicester has to offer, without breaking the bank.
