What’s better than 2 local independents doing a new collaboration? 2 local independents doing a collaboration that’s all centred around incredible food! Indian fine dining restaurant Lilu are now launching a unique afternoon tea in collaboration with local French baker, Chouxtique’s Nathalie Salles, which will be available for groups bookings every Sunday.

If you’ve ever been to Lilu you’ll know all about the quality of the food, and now, paired with the wonderful creations of Chouxtique, guests are in for a real treat. You’ll be able to enjoy a range of dainty savoury and sweet delights, including handmade quiches, Lilu’s popular beetroot marinaded paneer, delicate profiteroles and the classic Indian dessert, Gajjar Halwa. You’ll also be able to choose to top it off with a glass of Champagne or a glass of sparkling wine.

The idea came after Chouxtique proved popular during pop-up events at Lilu’s sister shop, Wigston Fields News and Deli. Owner, Pratik Master, commented, “What could be more representative of Leicester than an unexpected melding of flavours from two different continents? We are committed to #SupportLeicesterLocal and we know that guests will be delighted by this exceptional quality afternoon tea.”
