With the final half term week for a while, we’re looking at some of the best half term activities that you can enjoy with the kids in Leicester city centre.
Sixes Social Cricket
With T20 season just around the corner it’s the perfect time to enjoy some cricket action with the kids. Enjoy some time on the nets and see who can score the most Sixes! There is also a new menu on offer with tasty children’s options and a range of shakes to keep them smiling.
Shrek at Phoenix
You asked, they listened. Especially for half term, Phoenix will be screening all 4 Shrek movies. Yes the half term Shrektakular is on until Sunday 2 June and tickets for all films are just £3. (Oh, and if it’s sunny, why not head up and enjoy a drink on their roof terrace?)
East Street Lanes
With the weather forecast looking a little hit and miss for the week, indoor activities are always a welcome distraction. East Street Lanes is Leicester’s independent bowling alley and the ideal daytime activity with the children. Enjoy pizzas and shakes before hitting the lanes and seeing who comes out on top. Special family package prices are also available.
Reroll Board Game Cafe
A hidden gem on Granby Street, Reroll Board Game Cafe is sure to delight any youngster. With a HUGE selection of board games, from classics to those you’ve never heard of, you can play an old favourite or find a new one. The staff are great and will talk you through game options and instructions. You can also enjoy bagels, cakes, shakes and beers.
Footpool at Caddyshackers
Fancy a slightly different activity? Caddyshackers isn’t just about crazy golf these days. You can enjoy a range of other activities, including Leicester’s only FootPool. Yes, it’s pool, but with your feet. A perfect indoor option for any little (or big) football fans. You can also add on shuffleboard, electronic darts, and more.
Kids eat free at Pho
Half term activities can be hungry work, so why not make a dinner stop at Pho where there is a kids eat free offer running all week. Enjoy a hot bowl of pho, noodles, rice bowls and more at this popular Vietnamese dining spot.
