There’s an exciting new addition to Leicester food and drink scene, as Makaron launches their full menu at their King Street venue.
Offering a freshly homemade pasta bar with changing daily specials, Makaron opened for their soft launch in December 2023. Proving a hit with city centre visitors, they have enjoyed sell out success since first opening their doors.
Their delicious range of freshly prepared pasta offers a range of options, which can be prepared in seconds, offering a convenient lunchtime pitstop, as well as providing a welcoming venue to eat in with friends.
Diners can choose from a variety of homemade pasta, including gluten free options, topped with sauces that have been freshly prepared in house and a variety of toppings. Favourites during the soft launch period include Pomodoro con Pollo (chicken, dried tomatoes, red onion, garlic and cream) and the classic Beef Ragu.
Alongside the pasta dishes, Makaron also offers a selection of Italian desserts, from cannoli to their pistachio slice. For coffee lovers, don’t miss their in house made Tiramisu, fresh from their Tiramisu drawer. When it’s gone, it’s gone, so make it a lunchtime priority.
