To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 13 mission in April, the National Space Centre has joined forces with The Game Lab to host an out of this world Escape Room experience: Failure is NOT an Option. With a limited run of just 5 available dates, tickets are sure to sell quickly.

Apollo 13 was the lunar mission that never landed on the Moon. The craft was launched from Kennedy Space Center on April 11, 1970, but the lunar landing was aborted after an oxygen tank in the service module failed two days into the mission. There are many challenges involved in getting the craft into space, but also in getting it home with all crew surviving.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to successfully orbit the moon and bring the astronaut crew home safely. Are you up to the challenge? Failure is NOT an option.

The experience will be open on 3, 4, 10, 11 and 17 April with sessions at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. Whilst these sessions are strictly for those aged 16+ the Centre have added some family sessions so your little ones can enjoy the fun too. These will take place on Saturday 11 April and are priced at £5.

Tickets for main sessions cost £10 per adult and booking in advance is essential. You can book online now via the National Space Centre website.
