How long have you been running OwlGetIt and tell us a little more for anyone who isn’t familiar?
We’ve been going around 3 years now! We’re a food delivery & concierge app… basically get anything you want delivered!
What are some of your favourite things you can order via OwlGetIt?
We work with the best local restaurants and stores, Like Boo Burger, Konak, Heavenly Desserts, Chaiiwala, Grill Shack and even Florists and grocery stores!
So it’s not just cooked food, right? People can get groceries and everyday essentials?
Oh yes anything! Request it via our concierge to get you the hairdryer you brought from Argos to picking you up night nurse from the pharmacy we do it all! Some shops and newsagents are also listed on our general order listings.
How wide is your delivery area?
Due to the coronavirus we know do 4 miles, with no area restrictions (like the other services) we are from Leicester and for Leicester, so were trying our best to service the community!
Tell us about anything you’re doing to make it easier for people during this time?
So a few things;
– We have always had clear communication for contactless deliveries, but our concierges have now been briefed on importance of gloves, hygiene and requests for contactless deliveries.
– We’ve extended our delivery distance to 4 miles.
– We have partnered up with more grocery stores and we have just signed up a pharmacy to get your essential meds delivered too!
– We are providing families with codes for free delivery on orders over £20 using code: owlapp. This is applicable to all partner stores and restaurants. Additionally for click and collect use code click10 (with participating stores) to get 10% off.
