If you’ve walked down Market Street in Leicester recently, you can’t have missed Olivia’s Townhouse.
Olivia’s has moved into a large space, occupying 2 floors with their neon-tinted nightlife and cafe bar food options. It’s all about style, from the interior to the cocktails, so if you’re looking for somewhere to boost your Instagram feed, this is it.
As well as their popular night out table bookings and cocktail menu they also have various food offers running throughout the week, including small plates for a perfect after work option. We caught up with Manager, Beth, to find out more.
How would you describe Olivia’s Townhouse for someone who hasn’t visited yet?
Great place for any occasion, whether it’s a few cocktails with the girls or a big night out! Venue is beautiful and there’s lots of places to take photos for the gram!
You’re known for your cocktails and nights out, but what about your food offering?
We have a pasta and pizza menu as well as a small plates menu available every day from 4:30 – 8pm. It’s really eclectic, something for everyone from small dishes to big bowls of pasta!
What are some of your most popular food options?
Garlic doughballs are a must try! Our most popular dishes are our chicken gyozas, gambas pil pil (garlic prawns) and chorizo.
If you were going to Olivia’s for the first time which cocktail would you order?
A pineapple ice tea!
What do you think sets you apart from other venues in Leicester?
We do a bit of everything, really chill during the week and full party at the weekends.
Market Street, where you’re located, is currently going through a bit of a revival, what your favourite thing about where Olivia’s is?
Our neighbours are great and we are surrounded by businesses that are putting real effort into raising the game in the street. Excited to see what else comes our way
If we were coming to Olivia’s for a night out what should we expect from the soundtrack?
Again, a real mix of chart and old school RnB as well as some classics that you might not have heard for a while that will always get you in the mood!
Our DJs play from 8pm on Fridays and 5pm on Saturdays, so you can get the party started early.
