Cocco & Delilah is the latest opening on Cank Street in town. Offering high end afternoon teas, lunch and coffee, or a glass of fizz and cocktails, the interior has been beautifully designed to match their food and drink offer.
We caught up with them for this week’s BID Spotlight to find out more.
How would you describe Cocco & Delilah for someone who hasn’t visited yet?
Cocco & Delailah is a Cafe Boutique/tea room based in the old town in Leicester city centre. Our new cafe boutique has been designed by myself, the creative director, based on a story teller’s charm. What sets you apart from other coffee shops?
Cocco & Delilah is a luxury brand that provides high teas, cream teas and afternoon tea. Our new boutique restaurant will be offering all day brunch, luxury cream teas & afternoon tea alongside our new champagne and cocktail bar called Etoile. What makes us different is the surroundings, the actual restaurant menu also reflects this. We pride ourselves on delivering a luxurious service with excellent tasting food. Our attention to detail ensures a beautifully presented theatrical afternoon tea experience.
What are your standout menu items?
Our stand out items are from our Cocco Club menu, such as the Cocco Club sandwich, which consists of brioche toast married with crispy chicken, ham or brie layered with lettuce and tomatoes with our signature sauce. Our American pancakes are also different as our toppings such as Saville orange fruits, Strawbery deluxe & Bananaroma are unique.
Tell us a little about how you started as a business?
Ever since I was a little girl, I was obsessed with collecting dainty tea sets and I dreamt of one day turning my passion into a business!
Fast forward with a fashion degree and years of experience baking cakes and working within creative industries, then in 2020 I launched a luxury afternoon tea brand Cocco & Delilah.
My creativity, passion and dedication over the years has now given me an opportunity to open my first café boutique on Cank Street, St Martins, Leicester. Until now, Cocco & Delilah has solely been a delivery and catering service and we have had the opportunity to supply some of the world’s most sought-after luxury car brands amongst many corporate businesses in and around Leicestershire.
What is your favourite thing about running the business?
Being a business owner can be stressful, I am a very organised and pride myself on attention to detail, excellent customer service reflects massively on your business and we aim to deliver an exceptional level of service. The most rewarding part is making our customers happy, we get to meet some lovely people and the amazing feedback has been overwhelming and humbled by the response, we do truly appreciate every person who comes in and dines with us.

We offer a range of menu items here is just a few of those. brunch, American pancakes, bagels, lunch – burgers, club sandwiches, fish and chips, truffle chips.
