This week’s Leicestershire Beer Garden of the Week tour takes us over to near Coalville and to The Birch Tree.
Situated on a roundabout on the A511 on the southern outskirts of Coalville, The Birch Tree at Bardon is a lovely cosy and family friendly pub, which has a beautiful garden area.
The characterful pub building is filled with cosy corners, comfy armchairs and open fires. They’ve taken that charm through to their award-winning garden, with cosy sofa spots, lovely group areas, an outdoor bar and even a perfect little Instagram spot to take your photos!
They’re currently serving a street food menu before full reopening on 17 May, so head down for hot dogs, ribs, burgers and desserts. But make sure you take a trip back for their roast dinner on Sunday too!
They are open from 12pm – 9pm Sunday – Thursday and 12pm – 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Bookings can be made through The Birch Tree website.
