An Indian Summer returns to Leicester for 2023 with a packed programme of events, including live music, outdoor cinema and their Orton Square takeover.

An Indian Summer, the festival which celebrates contemporary South Asian arts and culture, has announced Nitin Sawhney will be debuting his first music concert in Leicester, taking place at Curve Theatre on Sunday 23 July.

In addition, An Indian Summer returns to Orton Square with a family fun extravaganza on 23 July. The festival’s popular outdoor cinema will also be returning on Friday 21st July with a Bollywood theme set to take audiences back on a nostalgic journey to 1975 with the renowned, international blockbuster, Sholay. Enjoy the summer movie night with an array of mouth watering street food, drinks, popcorn, music and Bollywood dance! The screening will take place at Jubilee Square and tickets are free, however there is also an option to pay for a reserved food and choice of Sholay themed Indian street food.
