Summer events are coming and Leicestershire County Cricket Club has today announced that they’ll be hosting An Evening of Queen will return on Saturday 3 July.
A dazzling collection of performers from London’s West End, including former stars from the smash hit musical ‘We Will Rock You’, will come together to present an incredible tribute to one of the world’s great rock bands in ‘I Want to Break Free’ at The Uptonsteel County Ground.
An Evening of Queen last performed in Leicester in 2019, which was a sell-out event!
This is just the start of things to come from Leicestershire County Cricket Club. Event Manager, Jack Bradley said: “It is fantastic to announce the return of the West End performance of Queen to the Uptonsteel County Ground.
“This is just the start of our exciting events programme for 2021, we’re working hard in the background to look at hosting additional events throughout the summer.”
The news comes on the back of Leicestershire CCC being granted a new premises licence which unlocks the Uptonsteel County Ground’s potential to be Leicester’s premium outdoor venue.
