If you’ve missed Lilu whilst they’ve been closed for their pre-summer holiday then don’t worry, they’re back! Furthermore to celebrate the re-opening Lilu Fine Dining will be holding a special 1 off evening on Wednesday 20 June in partnership with Burleighs Gin, where customers will enjoy an 8 course tasting menu with 3 specially matched gin cocktails.

Chukandari Paneer

Cocktail – Basil Gimlet
Burleigh’s Export – Lemon – Gomme – Basil leaves – Black pepper
The acidic principles of the lemon and dry spice of black pepper enhances the palette ready for this intense flavoured sea food based dish. The peppery notes that the gin and basil holds pairs exceptionally with the rich tasting profile of the salmon, whilst the sharpness of the citrus compliments the oils, richness and meaty texture that the salmon holds.

Hariyali Salmon
Tandoor baked Salmon marinated in coriander and mint accompanied with a Crispy Salmon fritter

Cocktail – The Exhibitionist
Burleigh’s Signature – Chardonnay – Figue – Grapefruit – Rosemary Gomme – Angosture Bitters

The citric characteristics of the gin, green apple and lemon of the chardonnay and strong herbaceous charred flavours of the rosemary entitle this drink to be a exceptional aperitif to the Pani Puri. The burleighs signature gin works wonders with the sour sweet tamrind of the pani puri, the dried fig works fantastic along side the chutney whilst the fruity citric notes of the grapefruit draws out the full flavour of the overall pani puri dish itself.
