Everyone knows that we here at Cool As Leicester are big festival fans, so we love it when we don’t have to travel too far to them! One of the best festivals to grace the East Midlands this year looks to be Derby’s Y Not Festival. What a line-up they’ve pulled out of the bag! You want names? Here you go… Dizzee Rascal, Frank Turner, White Lies, Razorlight, Shed Seven, Reel Big Fish… the list goes on!
Sunday headliner, Frank Turner last played at Y Not in 2009 and said, “I’m very excited to finally be coming back to Y Not – it’s something I’ve wanted to do every year since I was last there, but something has always got in the way. Not this year! The Sleeping Souls and I will be bringing our A game.”
2014 is a real step up for the festival – the three headliners are the biggest ever to grace the Y Not fields. And it’s not finished yet; by the time it’s all put together, it will be the most comprehensive line-up ever, covering the best in a lot of different music genres. Overall, it is set to be a typical Y Not weekend – an eclectic range of music and talent, a brilliant party and all-round laugh.

Y Not will take place 1-3 August 2014 in Pikehall, Derbyshire. Tickets are a snip at only £84, on sale at www.ynotfestivals.com, and include three days including camping.
