If you’ve hesitated about coming back into the city centre for shopping, then you can now check how busy Highcross is before you arrive.
The centre has launched a new feature on its website to help customers plan their visit. ‘Crowd Checker’ provides shoppers with live updates on how popular the centre is in real time, so that they know when to visit to beat the crowds.
The new feature has four statuses:
- ‘Now is a great time to visit the centre’
- ‘Now is a popular time to visit the centre’
- ‘The centre is really popular right now. Allow extra time’
- ‘Centre closed. Plan when it’s best to visit’
The latest status will be clearly displayed at the top of Highcross Leicester’s homepage.
Jo Tallack, General Manager at Highcross Leicester, said: “We know that some customers are still a little nervous about visiting their favourite shops, and want to beat the crowds. We’re always looking at how we can make life easier and simpler for our customers, and Crowd Checker is a great example of that, as it enables shoppers to check how popular the destination is in live time before they visit, so they can plan their trip.”
