Blossoms, arguably Stockport’s finest musical export, have announced a new date as part of their summer festival warm-ups. The mosaic 5 piece will be heading to De Montfort Hall on Thursday 20 June.

Psyche-pop riffs, vocal melodies, a film noir meets 60s aesthetic and a range of audible references from Arctic Monkeys via Abba to The Doors, have made Blossoms a huge hit with audiences around the country. With a huge summer of festivals ahead of them including Benicassim, Parklife, Community Festival, Reading & Leeds and more, they’re doing a short run of smaller warm-up shows, including the De Montfort Hall date.

If you’ve been paying attention these guys have risen through the Leicester gig ranks from The Cookie to the O2 Academy and even supported Kasabian at King Power Stadium.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 5 April from the De Montfort Hall website.
