The award-winning Nim’s Boutique opened in the centre of Leicester on Market Street in late 2022. With a wide selection of Indian partywear, they offer a welcoming shopping experience whether you’re looking for party outfits, jewellery or other accessories.
Growing from their original store on Narborough Road, Nim’s Boutique prides themselves on being different to other Indian dress shops in Leicester. “Whilst we don’t offer bridalwear, what we do offer is a unique and welcoming shopping experience. Whether you’re a guest at a wedding or attending a party, we have a wide range of fashion to suit a range of price points and sizes.”
One of owner Nim’s favourite things about the store is their Mix & Match Collection. “Our Mix & Match range means that you can buy a top, skirt and scarf separately so there’s no pressure to buy a whole outfit. If you want to reuse one part but dress it up with something new, we can offer that. We aim to be as flexible as possible for our customers.”
Another point that makes Nim’s Boutique stand out is their range of sizes on offer in store. “One of my favourite things about the Boutique is that we offer sizes in store from a size 4 to 24. This should be the norm, but so often it isn’t. I feel really proud that we’ve made this such a big feature of our ranges because everyone should be able to feel welcome and happy shopping or browsing together.”
Nim’s Boutique grew an online concept, which was started during maternity leave, and has now grown to a city centre premises. This runs alongside their online offer, where people can browse a range of their collections and choose worldwide delivery or to collect in store.
“We do a lot of our business online but it’s also wonderful to have a physical space to welcome our customers into. We offer a styling service so we can help you to match jewellery to your outfit, and it’s things like this that really bring out the benefit of an in person service.”
Since opening, Nim’s Boutique has established itself as a must visit destination for those seeking out Indian partywear. Customers are welcome to drop in to browse the collections and no appointment is required for styling advice.
