If you’re heading over to TeamSport Karting, why not add on a full body VR experience? ROAMDOME is based on the same site as TeamSport and offers an incredible VR activity, so immersive you won’t believe it’s not real. Channel your inner Indiana Jones or grab a gun and shoot some zombies, it’s guaranteed to get you playing as a team and a unique experience to remember. Tank Driving and Paintball

Now for something totally different. Experience the fun and excitement of driving tanks and other military vehicles over courses set around a World War II bombing range in Leicestershire. Armourgeddon is the worldwide home of Tank Paintball, incorporating Chaos Paintball and Tank Paintball Battle – all the fun of paintball (and without the pain, as it’s the tanks that take the hits) but with you at the controls of a FV432 tank. Stadium Tour

Is your mate a big Leicester City or Leicester Tigers fan? You could kick off your day with a tour around King Power Stadium or Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium. Get those keepsake photos in the changing rooms and pitchside, whilst finding out more about the history of the clubs. Brewery Tour

For beer lovers we’ve got not one, not two, but three excellent brewery tour options for your stag do. Closest to town, head over to Everards Meadows and book their fantastic tour around the state of the art brewery. See behind the scenes at the Beer Hall before sitting down to enjoy some food and taste plenty of their own brew beers. Out into Leicestershire you can jump on the train to Melton Mowbray and enjoy a day at the award-winning Round Corner Brewing. Located in the Stockyard at Melton Market enjoy a tour around the brewery facility, which has produced some fantastic award-winning lagers, ales and stouts. Finish the tour with a Round Corner Pizza and plenty of beers in their taproom, before getting the train back to Leicester. Finally, you can also jump on the train to Oakham, where as you step off the platform you’ll find yourself at The Grainstore Brewery. Home to the famous Ten Fifty, explore their wonderful brewery add learn about their long-standing processes. After the brewery tour you can enjoy a ploughman’s lunch with an hour of bottomless real ale in The Grainstore Pub.

Crazy Golf

Crazy golf is always a good group activity and none cater for it better than Caddyshackers. In the middle of the city centre, you can enjoy craft beers and cocktails whilst navigating your way around their 18 holes, each with its own unique twist and design, from football to pub themed holes. You can keep the party going as you take your drinks round the course with you, then take the winners podium at the end. The UK’s hovercrafting centre, Axceler-8, is near Market Harborough and offers group hovercrafting sessions, where you can take to land and water, take on tricky bends or race against your friends. Craft Beer Trail

If your group is a fan of craft beer then why not organise your own craft beer crawl around town. Leicester has a growing number of excellent pubs offering a selection of small batch brews. On Millstone Lane start at The Two Tailed Lion and The Blue Boar before heading towards Sommar to sample one of their 20 different craft beer lines, or something from the can fridge. Head to St Martin’s Square and visit Tonne where you can enjoy a paddle flight of 10 different beers, pop over to The Salmon and then add on a visit to The Kings Head at the bottom of New Walk for an ale sat on their roof terrace.
