Around Leicestershire we’ve lucky to have a number of brilliant independent gift shops. One of those shops is Niche, on Carts Lane in the city centre.
Niche stocks all manner of original gift ideas, artworks and lovely bits for the home. When we did a shout out for our readers’ favourite independents, Lynne Murray got in touch to tell us why for her Niche is her favourite shop in Leicester.
My favourite shop Niche is as the name implies, a stockist of lovely unusual products carefully selected from other independent UK based makers.
Ranging from decorative ceramics to framed illustrations, accessories for the home and person. The beautiful jewellery is all designed and made in-house and I always find an appropriate greeting card from the wide range of ‘Art’ cards on display.
Situated in The Lanes near other lovely independent shops the whole shopping experience is a welcome alternative.
