As you may or may not have heard, following a Freedom of Information request Leicester City Council were forced to admit that they were completely unprepared should a zombie attack ever break out in the city! So, obviously there’s only one thing to be done – organise a zombie attack!

That’s exactly what is happening and now you can be involved. The organisers are asking people to meet by the Clock Tower tomorrow (Saturday 18th June) at 12pm and prepare to walk over to Leicester City Council HQ to cause a scene. Online games website Miniclip will even be on hand to provide some face painting from 11.30 am, but all of you eager beavers will probably be wanting to do it yourself at home! There will be souvenir t-shirts for the first 50 attendees and obviously once the “attack” is over it’s the perfect excuse to hit pub with your new zombie friends!

Organiser James Dixon said, “I didn’t expect it to take off so much, but now we’ve even been mentioned on BBC Radio 2. Hopefully everyone will get into the spirit of it and the council will enjoy it for the fun it is meant to be!”
