Alright all of you zombie fanatics, this is one for you. Phoenix Square are celebrating the 5th year of the Festival of Zombie Culture with Day of the Undead tomorrow (Saturday 19th November) and you can go along and join in the fun!
Throughout the day they’ll be screening some of the best zombie films out there including the old, the new, and the rare. You’ll get the chance to take on the digital undead in the ‘3 Minute Zombie Challenge’, where digital zombies can be slain on screen and truly spectacular prizes can be won.
And if that wasn’t enough there will be Make Up Artists to turn you into the living dead, stalls selling items for your zombie collections, a zombie author doing a book signing, horror traders and of course an all day bar. Plus, lucky bags for the first 200 guests and a horde of prizes on offer including the coveted ‘Best Dressed Zombie Award’.

12pm – City of the Living Dead
2.15pm – Dead Genesis (UK premiere)
4.30pm – The Dead
7pm – Harold’s Going Stiff
9pm – Deadheads
11.15pm – Bong of the Dead (UK premiere)
All day tickets to the event are £25 and include access to all movies. Individual movie tickets are £7 each.
