Named one of the “5 future stars of the Pyramid Stage” at Glastonbury by BBC and regularly performing sell out gigs, Leicester’s new age reggae group By The Rivers are going from strength to strength.
They’re currently on a little acoustic tour which is finishing at The Soundhouse on Saturday 22nd February and guess what? It’s completely and utterly sold out. Except we’ve gone and grabbed the very last 2 tickets to give to one of you lucky Cool As Leicester readers!
This is a great opportunity to see one of Leicester’s best recent bands in an intimate venue with a fab support line up to boot. Performing with them on the night will be acoustic duo The Daydream Club, one of Leicester’s finest ska/reggae acts The Brandy Thieves with a rare stripped back acoustic set, folk group Caneen and then to top it off there’ll be a DJ set from Captain iPod to keep the party going until 3am.
There’ll be the usual friendly staff, extensive drinks and great atmosphere that we all know to expect at The Soundhouse as well as some cupcakes on sale from Leicester’s finest Bitsy’s Cupcakery.
