You might have heard about Head of Steam, the brand new bar set to launch on Market Street on Thursday 5th April. Well we’ve got 3 tables at their VIP preview lunches to give away to 3 lucky Cool As Leicester readers, giving you a chance to be one of the very first people through the doors.
The new Head of Steam bar will replace the former Reynard pub, and will champion local breweries as part of its offering, including Brewsters, Charnwood, Framework & Langton. There will be 30 lines showcasing some of the very best craft ale, real ale, cider and beers from around the world.
The bar will be set across two floors and will offer a main bar, a VIP floor that can be reserved for special functions, and a beer garden with seating for 30 people.
The Head of Steam, is owned by Hartlepool-based Camerons Brewery, and will offer customers the chance to choose from more than 120 different brews which they can enjoy in a welcoming space designed with a modern-twist.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Chris Soley, chief executive at Camerons Brewery, commented:
“We pride ourselves on hand-selecting the perfect range of beer for our customers using expert knowledge from our team of passionate beer sommeliers.
“It is important to note that this isn’t just a place exclusive to the beer fanatics, our doors are open to families, friends and even dogs, with an open and inviting atmosphere, you can relax and enjoy great food, drink and entertainment.“
Not just about the beer – wines, cocktails and spirits, will also be on offer at the venue, as well as their own take on classic pub grub, with specialties including its own Full Head of Steam Burger, Classic Dogs and Stonebaked Pizza or dishes such as Mussels, Beef Bourguignon and Pumpkin Ravioli. There will also be regular live music and quiz nights, and a discount on cask ales for CAMRA members.
