One of Leicester’s newest food & drink destinations, Broood at Vin Quatre, has recently launched their new food menu at the bar on King Street and with a focus on home cooked chicken with vegetarian and vegan options, it is fast becoming an ideal after work or weekend stop off. They’re having a menu launch event on Thursday 16 March and you could be there to sample what’s on offer.
So what else can you expect at Broood? Real ale drinkers will be delighted with the range of beers on offer with the owners keen to showcase rare brews from across the UK. Since opening in December they’ve already had over 200 different beers on, bringing out their long standing passion for quality craft and cask options.
Broood isn’t just a venue for beer lovers, though, with the owners keen to ensure there’s a quality range of wines and spirits available as well, with them also hosting a regular gin night.
The building in which Broood sits was once home to Vin Quatre, which in the 1990s was the most profitable bar per square foot in the UK. The current owners are now bringing back some of that history by adopting the name in Broood at Vin Quatre.
From succulent poussin and chicken flatbread kebabs to stilton rarebit or the vegan burger stack, the new food menu at Broood offers a fantastic casual dining option in the heart of the city centre. With so many quality drinks to enjoy it with it’s the perfect after work or weekend stop and with children welcome and a menu of their own, it is also a great place for the family.
Broood will be holding a press and VIP menu launch on Thursday 16 March from 6pm til late and you could be there to enjoy welcome drinks, tasters from the menu and a real ale tasting experience, plus live entertainment from Chris Conway and Andy Nicholls who will be performing live.
