Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a wine connoisseur, or enjoy the odd sample of Champagne? Thirty Fifty are hosting a Champagne & Fizz evening on Tuesday 13 March at the City Rooms and we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away.
Thirty Fifty have been holding their award-winning expert-led wine tasting evenings across the UK for over a decade and have regular events held at Leicester’s City Rooms. The object of the wine tastings is to share their knowledge so that you can learn the important bits about wine to help maximise your wine drinking pleasure.
For the Champagne & Fizz evening the tasting is guided by a qualified wine expert and includes 6 wines to taste with 2 champagnes and 4 sparkling wines. There’ll be accompanying canapés to see you through the evening and the event runs from 7pm to 9pm.
You’ll taste 6 sparkling wines including 2 Champagnes (1 Pink), Prosecco, Cava and an award-winning English fizz. Plus you’ll get to learn everything from how to taste wine like a professional, how the bubbles get into the wine, how different methods taste different, plus some blind tasting of Champagne v Fizz too. Can you tell the difference? There’ll also be time to create a classic Champagne cocktail.
Tickets for the event are priced at £39 and you can view other upcoming wine tasting events in Leicester (May, July, September, November) on the Thirty Fifty website.
