Dress to impress as the Mercure transforms into the Downtown Vegas for one night only. The Promised Land – 100&Six
Tuesday 31 December

Head to 100&Six from 10pm to see in the new year with a vinyl DJ set from The Promised Land. Tickets are priced at just £5 and include Prosecco on arrival.

Ambush – The Shed
Tuesday 31 December

Enjoy emo anthems and all the usual Ambush fun upstairs at The Shed, with tunes from Enter Shikari, Paramore, My Chemical Romance and more. Downstairs they’ll have an electro-swing speakeasy style bar vibe for more of a chill out. Early bird tickets £2, £5 on the door.

It’s free entry all night at 1901 Turkey Cafe with live music from Cool Jazz Trio. They’re throwing it back to the roaring ’20s, so dust of your flapper dress and enjoy a night of music and classic cocktails. 8pm – 4am.

The Whisky Rebellion – Duffy’s

The Whiskey Rebellion invite you to join them and a hand-picked selection of Leicester’s finest bands for yet another night of drinking, dancing, and general reckless abandon. ROAM – The Vault at The Shed

ROAM are in Leicester for Independent Venue Week as part of their tour playing some smaller than usual rooms. The five piece from Brighton deliver performances fizzing with energy and melodic pop punk brilliance. The band take their cues from the likes of New Found Glory, Blink-182, Sum 41 and Simple Plan, and will be celebrating their most recent record Smile Wide. TICKETS.

Sorry – The Cookie

London based band, Sorry, is centred around Asha Lorenz & Louis O’Bryen, who started as two 19-year-old childhood best friends. With an ever changing sound and along with Lincoln Barrett (drums) and Campbell Baum (bass), they have been playing on London’s underground circuit since 2015, in the same clubs that hosted Shame and Goat Girl. Circa Waves – O2 Academy

Known for their nervy, melodic indie rock,  Circa Waves first gained buzz in the 2010’s with hooky singles like ‘Get Away’ and ‘Stuck in My Teeth’. Centered on lead singer/songwriter Kieran Shudall, the Liverpudlians earned favourable comparisons to the Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, and the Vaccines. They’re touring in support of their brand new album ‘Sad Happy’. TICKETS
