Support slots available on upcoming gigs

Leicester bands and performers, are you looking for gigs this autumn? The Cookie presents have loads of brilliant acts coming to the city and are currently programming support slots. If you’re a local Leicester based band or solo performer take a look through the listings and get in touch with The Cookie presents via Facebook to express an interest.

For most of us it’s been quite a long time since our last festival outing. Have you been missing the camping, the portaloos and the festival fun in a muddy field? I know we have!

If you’re yet to make your first post-Covid festival trip then how about staying local? Back to the 80s & 90s returns to Cattows Farm, Leicestershire next weekend, from Thursday 12 – Sunday 15 August.

This is one trip down memory lane you won’t want to miss with the line-up being a who’s who of your childhood music collection. From the biggest classic dance hits to your chart and pop favourites, you’ll be non stop dancing all weekend.

Thursday evening is headlined by Symphonic Ibiza featuring Sonique with a setlist full of 90s club and dancefloor classics, performed in a unique and memorable style. If pop’s more your thing then don’t miss Five who will be tearing up the main stage before them.

Over the course of the weekend you can see B*Witched, Peter Andre, The Honeyz, Heather Small, Liberty X, Phats & Small, Katrina & The Waves, S Club Party, 911, Damage, Chesney Hawkes, Judge Jules and so many more.

As well as the main stage there’s a separate dance tent, festival food outlets, bars serving a range of drink options, festival stalls and entertainment and full weekend camping.

This event seems to get bigger and better every year, so don’t miss out on tickets.
