With a number of popular venues around Leicester we were intrigued to be invited along to the launch of the Light Nights menu for Vintage Inn, which took place at Grange Farm in Oadby.

The new menu for summer has something for everyone, with highlights including the Hand Crumbed Langoustines to start and the Lamb Koftas for main. We were spoilt for choice as we got to sample 10 courses from the new menu (along with the wines of course, it’d be rude not to) and none of the dishes disappointed.

One of the stand out favourites was the Hand Battered Halloumi & Chips. Such a different way to serve halloumi, it stood out ahead of the rest of the main courses, so we’d say you should probably go down and try it!

Lucky for us here in Leicester there are Vintage Inns located at Grange Farm, Oadby, The Red Cow on Hinckley Road, Badgers Sett at Cropston and The Packe Arms in Loughborough. The new menu is in place now, with reasonable prices and a comfortable setting, there’s no reason not to check it out.
